LEVEL 2 Recreational Competitive Class
Waitakere Gymnastics provides competitive gymnastics for Recreational Level classes.
Gymnasts can compete at Auckland based competitions after completing training of a series of skills and routines.
There are four Recreational Competitive Levels - Level 00, 0, 1, 2 & 3, 4 (open).
Level 2
Recreational Competitive Gymnastics Levels 2 is for 8-11 years. This class would suit girls who love gymnastics and want to compete at Auckland based competitions.
Gymnasts learn skills and work on flexibility over the summer months and leading up to the competitive season, they learn routines and practice them. During the competitive season over the Winter months, girls compete at local competitions.
We run a trial for the Recreational Competitive program in Term 4 every year, to be considered for this program you would need to attend the trial and be assessed. Previous gymnastics experience and basic skills are required. We are looking for strength, flexibility and a great attitude, inclusion in the competitive program is not guaranteed. The cost for Level 2 is $203.50 per term
Classes are 2 hours long.
The affiliation fee of $8.00 per term is included in the above fee.
