Waitakere Gymnastics Club Incorporated is a non-profit Club formed in 1997.
The Club owns the building and employees a Club Manager and an Office Manager to manage day to day operation of the Club.
The Club also employs a number of part time and casual coaches to facilitate the classes throughout the week.
The Committee
A number of Club members volunteer their time on the Waitakere Gymnastics Club committee, meeting once a month to ensure the finances and other important matters are handled appropriately. The committee contracts an independent Treasurer to verify the accounts and provide accurate accounts at the committee meetings. The format is fun and relaxed but all matters are handled in accordance with the Club's constitution.
The committee also manages Club events such as gymnastics competitions, fundraising and social events, marketing and communication to members.
How you can help
If you would like to join the committee and do your part for the success of Waitakere Gymnastics, we would love to hear from you. Perhaps you might like to be a friend of the committee, helping out at events but not coming to committee meetings. Whatever the case, we would really appreciate your support and any time given to the Club. Email your expression of interest to
